Classifieds 

To place an ad, email your information and put "Classified" in the subject line. Please limit your submission to two images jpg or png (no larger than 1 mb) and up to 100 words. Longer submissions will be edited. Classifieds will be removed after six weeks unless "renewed" or edited in some way.  Listings advertising a business will stay in for four weeks.
If Items sell, please let us know so we may remove them.

Our service area includes Abiquiu and the surrounding rural communities. Free classifieds may be limited to residents of those communities.  Business classifieds will run for four weeks.  Please include full name, address and phone number, include copy for ad on what contact information you'd like us to include.

Classifieds are free but if you have success, consider making a small contribution to offset the cost of the News and website. Contributions can be mailed to The Abiquiu News at PO Box 1052, Abiquiu, NM 87510 or via PayPal.

When purchasing from individuals always be aware there are scams.  When purchasing locally, consider cash transactions only when applicable.  If you are hiring someone through the classifieds ask for references.

EERO MESH Wi-Fi
 
Converted to new Wi-Fi system so I have Eeros for sale.  They range from 3 to 30 months old.  All in good working order.
  • 3 ea. Eero 6+ $35 - 1 Gbps, about 4,500 sf coverage, two ethernet connectors
  •  5 ea. Eero $25 - 350 Mbps, about 4,500 sf coverage, two ethernet connectorsThe minimum setup is one Eero connected by ethernet connector to your internet source. If you need to extend your range, they can automatically mesh with each other by ethernet cable or wirelessly. 
If you have a large house or need to go through block walls you may need multiple units.  You will have to experiment with placement for the best coverage.
For all practical purposes the speed difference between the two models is not relevant.  Even with Starlink I rarely get over 350 Mbps.
Eero is very easy to set up and is basically zero maintenance. You can check the Abiquiu News article here.
