An update on T-Mobile's WiFi

A few weeks ago we switched from Starlink’s internet to T-Mobile's. We had Starlink for close to 2 years, I think. We never had any real problems with it, aside from it being down for twenty minutes one afternoon. Way better than Windstream, and quite a bit faster.

After several weeks on T-Mobile, I’d say that Starlink is better. While T-Mobile is fast, it does not seem to have the throughput that Starlink has. This is noticeable only occasionally, and it appears as a blurry picture on the TV, or a pause in the video feed.

This doesn’t happen often, but it does happen. I haven’t noticed anything on my phone, so that’s good. All in all, for the $90 a month in savings over Starlink, I am going to stick with T-Mobile. I’m hoping that T-Mobile will improve over time. If it gets worse, I’ll switch back to Starlink.

Thanks Brian. Since switching to T-mobile cell and internet I have had no problems whatsoever! I was able to rid myself of Windstream (internet went down once of twice a DAY!) and I'm saving more than $100 per month. Impeccable service, at least compared to Windstream.

We switched to T-Mobile cell service this week and were told that the internet was not available in Medanales where we live. I wonder why you got it. Where did you go to get your service. We went to the Santa Fe store.

We have had a T-Mobile hotspot going on two years...so much better than Windstream. At the time we signed up we were paying $115.00 monthly for Windstream phone and internet, plus our cell phones which were @ $80.00 monthly. With T-Mobile we paid $140.00 which included our hotspot and 2 cell phone lines plus free Netflix! Another benefit is the customer service is stateside and the tech support has been great when needed.
